AI receptionist for dental clinics
The AI receptionist answers the phone when you can’t.
A missed call is often a patient ringing the clinic next door. The AI receptionist answers around the clock in Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Finnish, lunchtime and evenings included.
From first ring to booked appointment without reception lifting the phone
A new patient who rings and hears an engaged tone rarely calls back. They ring the next clinic on the list. Every unanswered call at lunchtime, after closing or while reception is with a patient is an appointment that ends up with someone else.
The AI receptionist is a phone assistant that answers on the first ring, around the clock. It speaks Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Finnish, knows the clinic’s opening hours and treatments, finds available appointments and books them straight into the practice management system where it can be connected. Otherwise it takes a name, number and reason, and the clinic calls back.

Sound familiar?
- The phone rings most when reception has the least time, and calls are lost at lunch and at closing time.
- You pay for Google Ads and Facebook, but patients who ring after 4 pm go to voicemail.
- Reception spends half the day answering the same things: opening hours, prices and “have you got anything free tomorrow?”
82%
of consumers say they ring a competitor if a business doesn’t answer the phone. For a dental clinic, that means the clinic next door.

What your clinic gets with the AI receptionist
Answers every call, around the clock
No engaged tone, no queue. The patient gets an answer on the first ring, in the evening, at weekends and over lunch too.
Books straight into your appointment book
Where your practice management system can be connected, the receptionist sees available appointments in real time, reads out two or three options and books the one the patient picks.
Instant confirmation for the patient
The appointment is confirmed by SMS or email straight away, so the patient actually turns up.
Catches patients after closing time
Outside opening hours it takes a name, phone number and the reason for the call, and the clinic rings back the next working day.
Hands over to your team when needed
Clinical questions, acute pain and complaints go straight to your team. It never gives medical advice.
Built for health data
Callers are told about recording, audio is not stored and the transcript is deleted automatically after 30 days. Data is kept separate for each clinic.
Answers from the clinic’s own facts, not a generic script
The receptionist knows what you have confirmed: opening hours, treatments, prices, parking and when a person should take over. Clinical questions always go to your team.
- Opening hours are pulled from your Google Business Profile every day
- A natural-sounding Nordic voice, chosen together with you
- Questions it can’t answer become suggestions for new answers, approved once and used on the phone, in chat and by SMS
- You decide what it may book and when a person takes over
How I work
- 01
Setup
I enter your opening hours, treatments, clinicians and how you want patients to be greeted. The receptionist is connected to your practice management system and the clinic’s number.
- 02
Testing
You and I test it on real calls, booking and out-of-hours, and I adjust the voice and answers until it sounds like your clinic.
- 03
Live
It answers from day one. You get an overview of calls, bookings and callbacks, and I fine-tune it based on what patients actually ask.
You see what happened in every call
Every call is summarised automatically in the dashboard: what the patient wanted, what the receptionist did and how the call ended. Nobody has to keep statistics by hand.
- Appointments the receptionist books show up in the dashboard calendar
- Callbacks arrive with name, number and the reason for the call
- The call transcript is kept for 30 days, then deleted automatically
Privacy
Built with privacy first.
Audio is not stored
Callers are told about recording. Audio is not stored, and the transcript is deleted automatically after 30 days.
The voice service runs in the EU
Calls are processed on servers in the EU, and data is kept separate for each clinic.
Never gives medical advice
Clinical questions, acute pain and complaints are always handed over to your team.
Result
No patient hears an engaged tone again. Appointments get booked while you treat patients, in the evening and at weekends, and reception is spared the endless phone queue.
Common questions about the AI receptionist
Which languages does it speak?
Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Finnish — it answers in the clinic’s language.
How does the 30-day free trial work?
I set up the receptionist for the clinic, and the 30 days only start once it is answering real patients. Setup and the trial cost nothing. After that it continues at €250 a month with no lock-in. Cancel before day 30 and you pay nothing. The trial is for clinics in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.
What does an AI receptionist cost?
€250 a month, fixed price per clinic, with no per-minute charge. One extra patient a month covers it.
Does it sound like a robot?
No. The voice is natural, and it responds to what the patient actually says, not to a keypad menu. The patient can ask to speak to a person at any time.
What happens with acute toothache?
During opening hours it puts the call through to the clinic. Outside opening hours it gives the number of the emergency dental service, takes a name and phone number and the clinic gets in touch the next day.
Does it work with our practice management system?
It books straight into Opus Dental (a Nordic practice management system) today. If your system has a booking API, I’ll look at connecting it; we can go through it on the strategy call. Without an API, it logs the enquiry and the clinic rings back.
Do we have to change our phone number?
No. The clinic’s number is forwarded to the receptionist when you don’t pick up, or all the time. You decide. The patient notices no difference.
Will it replace our receptionist?
No. It takes the predictable calls (opening hours, prices and new appointments) so reception has time for the patients standing in front of them. Anything that needs a person is handed over.
How do we get started?
After the strategy call I enter the clinic’s facts and connect the receptionist to your appointment book. Then you and I test it on a call, and it only answers real patients once you are happy.
Is this allowed under privacy rules?
Yes. Callers are told the call may be recorded, and the receptionist never gives medical advice. Audio is not stored, the transcript is deleted automatically after 30 days, and the voice service runs on servers in the EU. Data is kept separate for each clinic.
